Every year, Vestland Venstre awards the Environmental Prize to someone who has distinguished themselves with their efforts for the environment. Among many candidates, Innvik received the award for 2025 for its work to drastically cut climate emissions. Investment in new factory premises and the fact that the company produces quality products for use across generations were the basis for Innvik being honored with the Environmental Prize. The award ceremony took place at the factory during a joint meeting for all employees.

“It's a fantastic job that's been done here, with local forces at the forefront. Imagine that it's been done in a small village in Nordfjord, a village that shows that here we can do things that are at the top of the world,” said MP Alfred Bjørlo.

Managing Director Bjørn Aage praises the employees who have done the job and were crucial in implementing the changes. “This is a result of the team!” concluded Haugen.
