UN Sustainable Development Goals - where Innvik can help
We will work towards a more sustainable society, with less use and waste and more focus on lasting quality in products. That is why we have set ourselves the goal of becoming a leader in sustainable textile production.
This is how we can contribute to achieving the sustainability goals by 2030:
We have a good collaboration with the refugee service and NAV, and were nominated for the Diversity Award in 2020.
We want good integration through permanent employment and equal pay for equal work.
Innvik is a village in Stryn municipality with just over 400 inhabitants. By keeping the location here, we make a positive contribution to settlement and development in the local community.
We develop high-quality, long-lasting products, use recycled materials and deliver residual materials for recycling.
We optimize production with minimal waste.
We think sustainability in everything we do: We work towards CO2-neutral production, reduce emissions and make demands on ourselves and our partners. We set ourselves ambitious goals to act quickly in order to be able to see the immediate effect of our efforts.
We have minimized our plastic consumption considerably. Most of our packaging is now made of paper, and where we do use plastic, it is mainly recycled. We also know that our wool textiles do not emit microplastics.
With a fuel source from bioenergy plants, we utilize GROT (branches and tops of trees), which is usually wasted. By harvesting non-productive forest, we nurture the cultural landscape and create a breeding ground for new trees. We also use natural fiber from agriculture.
We work against corruption and bribery, with a strong focus on our Code of Conduct.
In this way, we hope to contribute to a peaceful and inclusive society with the aim of sustainable development.
Innvik wants to be a sustainability pioneer in the industry. We can bring our partners and suppliers on board, set high standards, build competitive advantage and increase focus on the SDGs.
